96 Rotten Chicken Confiscated in Pisangan Timur

East Jakarta Sub-dept. of Maritime, Agriculture, and Food Tenacity (KPKP) held a raid in several chicken shelters around Jalan Pisangan Timur I, Pisangan Timur, Pulogadung. As many as 96 rotten chicken (tiren) were seized from 5 shelters.

The personnel directly collected the chicken into the sack. The raid was done on Tuesday (12/22) at 4 AM by targeting 11 chicken shelters.

According to her, the rotten chickens were seized from shelter owned by GN (54 chickens), AH (13), HD (3), HN (14), and another shelter by 12 chickens.

“Those chickens then brought to Cakung slaughterhouse to be burned,” she added.

HD (37), one of shelters owner, admitted that he gets chicken supply from Sukabumi, West Java by 1,000 red chicken and 500 white chicken. About 20 chickens died during travel from Sukabumi to Jakarta.

“Rotten chickens were disposed to somewhere by someone, but I do not know where,” he admitted.
